King Puck Killorglin
The famous Puck statue which stands adjacent to the bridge entering Killorglin town. Killorglin (Irish: Cill Orglan) is a town in County Kerry, Ireland. It is located on the river Laune, itself spanned by this beautiful stone bridge. Killorglin is famous for the Puck Fair (Irish: Aonach an Phoic, meaning "Fair of the He-Goat", 'poc' being the Irish for a male goat). Puck Fair is reputed to be one of Ireland's oldest fairs which takes place annually for three days in August; it has been celebrated here for almost 400 years.
